They only seem to mention Maugin, and while I love her and all, I kind of want to know what happened to the other two….

I can’t be the only one mad that Magda and Rook ended up together. I thought her and Xanth would have made a better couple, but whatever then.

I just finished The Immortals.

Now I’m in tears. That was such an amazing ending to such a beautiful series of books. I’m also a bit sad though, because with finally finishing the series, a big part of my childhood is now officially over. The Edge Chronicles will always have a special place in my heart, and when I’m older, I’m definitely going to read the series to them, so can relish in its beauty as well.

Maugin’s death was so sad :(

I know that having Nibblick the ratbird die is a sad thing (since I find them particularly cute) but I find it a little creepy that Quint was still stroking it after it died and carried it around in his pocket. Just found it a little weird is all…

I finished Clash of the Sky Galleons.

And while I liked it, I don’t think it was as good as The Winter Knights. I also thought the ending seemed a bit rushed, but that’s just my opinion. Onto The Immortals now, I can’t wait to see how this series is concluded!

That’s what they are; Twig, Quint, Rook, and the rest of their lot. I was trying to figure out what they were called this whole time, but I’m glad that at book 9 they finally reveal what they are. Sheesh!
